YSU was honoured to host Board of Directors (BOD) Meeting CAPEU (Consortium of Asia Pacific Education Universities) on Wednesday (30/09/2015) in Main Meeting Room, YSU Rectorate Building. CAPEU is an organization of Asia-Pasific universities and institutions which concern education.

The collaboration between students of Mechanical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering Yogyakarta State University and students of Yamaguchi University, Japan has resulted in two eco-friendly design concepts; those are transportation for the Malioboro area and a soybean growing machine. Monday (21/9/2015) – Office of International Affairs and Partnership (OIAP), Yogyakarta State University (YSU) organized a Welcoming Ceremony for new 2015 international students, and this was housed in Main Meeting Room, YSU Rectorate building. On 1—7 September 2015, two representatives of Developing Countries Partnership (DCP) students, Claver Nzobonimpa and Oscar Ndayizeye from Burundi, joined Intercultural Summer Camp organized by International Office of Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed). Friday (18/9/2015)–25 international students of Darmasiswa and Developing Countries Partnership (DCP) in YSU attended culture class regarding Javanese wedding procession held in the house of Vice Rector IV for Cooperation and Partnership, Prof. Suwarsih Madya, in Seyegan, Sleman, Yogyakarta.
