Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held an institutional strengthening workshop that presented a key person from Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) on June 16, 2022, at Swiss Belinn Hotel Surabaya. Four areas of study are discussed: planning, law, cooperation, and public relations. "To accelerate the institutional quality of UNY, it is very natural that we learn about UNAIR best practices. UNAIR has managed to rank quite high in the national University's Main Performance Indicator League," said Prof. Siswantoyo as, Vice-Rector for Planning and Cooperation of UNY.

Some of UNAIR's key persons who attended included the Head of the UNAIR Development Cooperation and Management Agency Dr. Eko Supeno, Head of Unair Planning and Development Agency Dian Ekowati, Ph.D, Head of Law Unair Dr. Faizal Kurniawan, and Coordinator of Public Relations Hilda Yunita, MH.

Regarding planning, the UNY planning team received a lot of input from Dian Ekowati. Based on UNAIR's experience, it is essential to make plans based on performance achievements and disaster mitigation. This disaster mitigation is one of the strategies to anticipate risks that will arise.

In the field of law, Dr. Faizal Kurniawan stated that institutional governance at UNAIR is also inseparable from various dynamics. These dynamics certainly need attention from the UNY legal team, which is currently drafting 54 legal regulations, generally in the form of laws by the Rector, the Academic Senate, and the Board of Trustees.

Eko Supeno, as the Head of UNAIR Development Cooperation and Management Agency, positively provoked the importance of increasing income-generating. For this purpose, UNAIR has sorted out which MoUs can become MoA and IA. Eko explained that currently, UNAIR has more cooperation with the industrial world.

Meanwhile, UNAIR Public Relations Coordinator Hilda Yunita, MH, shared about institutional promotion efforts that have been taking place at UNAIR. The measurable institutional promotion has helped UNAIR reach the 369th position in the QS World Ranking University. In addition, UNY's PR team also learned more about PPID and KIP at UNAIR.
