FUN IN INTERNATIONAL DISABILITY DAY

"About 1 billion people around the world live with disabilities and that's 15 percent of the population in the world." Opens Aini Mahabbati, S. Pd., M. A. Representing the PLB head in the Fun In International Disability Day (FIND) activity. This activity was organized by the Extraordinary Education Student Association of FIP UNY. Aini explained that on December 3 every year, the world celebrated International Disability Day. In 1981, the United Nations proclaimed this as a recognized day to celebrate the achievements of people living with disabilities throughout the world. "On this occasion is also a day where we promote awareness of the challenges faced by more than 1 billion people who live with disabilities, and the role of the community in dealing with children with special needs." Said Aini again.

This activity was held on November 25, 2018 at the UNY Rector's Hall and the UNY Postgraduate Building Superior Hall. Then the peak event will be held on December 9, 2018 at the One March General Assault Museum, Yogyakarta Kilometer Zero Point. The event was attended by approximately 19 SLB and Inclusion Schools in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the event was officially opened by the Chair of the Extraordinary Education Department represented by Aini Mahabbati, S. Pd., M. A. and was attended by student assistant lecturers and invited guests.

In this Pre-event the International Disability Day Commemoration Event held several competitions for Children with Special Needs. Among them are Dancing Competition, Singing Contest, Painting Contest and Coloring Contest. This race runs smoothly and lively.
