UNY towards more Effective and Efficient Institutions

Based on the Rector Decree as of July 1, 2022, the educational structural positions in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), which previously consisted of the Head of Section and several Heads of Sub-Sections, have now been changed to Coordinator and Coordinator Secretary. This change is a form of bureaucratic reform within the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and structural streamlining, which is expected to be more effective and efficient, following the direction promoted by the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia.

Following the 2020-2025 UNY strategic plan, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) strives to implement good governance and services. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held an institutional strengthening workshop that presented a key person from Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) on June 16, 2022, at Swiss Belinn Hotel Surabaya. Four areas of study are discussed: planning, law, cooperation, and public relations. "To accelerate the institutional quality of UNY, it is very natural that we learn about UNAIR best practices. UNAIR has managed to rank quite high in the national University's Main Performance Indicator League," said Prof. Siswantoyo as, Vice-Rector for Planning and Cooperation of UNY.

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) is one of the fundamental rights protected by legal products. in various countries. Not only that, guarantees for IPR are also included in various international documents and agreements. To improve the awareness of IPR importance, the Innovation Center, Business Incubator, and Intellectual Property Rights UNY organized a workshop entitled "Copyright Protection for Academics" on May 31, 2022.

UNY WON THREE AWARDS AT THE 2021 DIKTIRISTEK AWARD

UNY won as the 1st Rank of  Management of Higher Education Cooperation Data for Public Service Agency, the second rank of  Management of Cooperation and Facilitation of Higher Education Cooperation Report for Public Service Agency, and first expectation rating of  Integrated Service Unit for Higher Education Public Service Agency in the 2021 Diktiristek Award which was held offline and online. The award was received by the Rector of UNY, Prof. Sumaryanto, in Jakarta, Thursday (13/1).
