International Collaboration

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening international academic networks through the participation of lecturers from the Department of Sociology Education, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), in the Eurasia Convention 2026, held in Busan, South Korea, from August 3 to 5, 2026.

The Community Service Program (PKM) team from the Department of Sociology Education, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (FISIP UNY), carried out a series of international collaborative activities in Malaysia. The program was part of an initiative under a long-standing partnership with the Faculty of Human Development, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has reaffirmed its commitment to internationalizing the Indonesian language through an overseas Community Service Program (PkM). The UNY PkM team held a program titled “Vocabulary Training through Traditional Games for BIPA Learners at USSH and HANU, Vietnam” at two partner universities, namely the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) and Hanoi University (HANU), Vietnam.

Yogyakarta, 2 September 2025 – Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) welcomed Dr. Angela Farrell, Assistant Dean International and Erasmus+ Coordinator at the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Limerick, Ireland, for an academic visit. This event was made possible through close collaboration with the International Office of UNY, which has maintained strong communication with Dr.

As a part of implementation on the collaboration between UNY and the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, UNY is ready to facilitate activities held between the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel (GTK) of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing in an activity entitled "Leadership Training from CLEC Ministry of Education China".
