UNY Students Strengthen Children’s Empathy through Connecting with Others Program

A Student Creativity Program in Community Service (PKM-PM) team from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held a Connecting with Others activity as part of the I’M STRONG program at the Mardiko Waste Processing Center in Bantul. Using a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) approach, the program was designed to foster empathy, improve social skills, and strengthen children’s ability to build healthy relationships with the people and environment around them.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has once again strengthened its international presence. Lecturer of the Doctoral Program in Arts Education, Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Culture (FBSB) UNY, Prof. Dr. Kun Setyaning Astuti, M.Pd., was invited as a guest lecturer in the Summer School: Effective Teaching for the Future (SumSet) program organized by the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, one of the world’s top 100 universities.

Maestro-Evo UNY Demonstrates National Robotics Capacity, Wins Runner-Up and Best Strategy at KRAI 2026

The Maestro-Evo Robotics Team of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has once again demonstrated its standing as one of Indonesia’s leading student robotics teams. At the 2026 National ABU Indonesia Robot Contest (KRAI), held at the University of Jember from July 9 to 12, 2026, the team secured second place nationally and won the Best Strategy award, in recognition of the best strategy applied throughout the competition.
