UNY Facilitates National Computer-Based Written Examination 2025 for Over 11,000 Prospective Students

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) successfully hosted the National Computer-Based Written Examination 2025 entrance exam for 11,216 prospective students across five days, from April 23 to April 28, 2025. According to Prof. Eduard Wolok, General Chair of the SNPMB Organizing Committee, a total of 860,975 participants nationwide registered for National Computer-Based Written Examination this year. Most applicants aimed for Bachelor’s programs (799,230), followed by Applied Bachelor’s (45,582), and Diploma programs (16,164).

UNY Earns Global Recognition in QS-WUR Top 500 by Subject

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) continues to shine on the global academic stage. On March 20, 2025, UNY was honored at the "Appreciation for World-Class University Achievements: QS World University Rankings (QS-WUR) Top 500 by Subject" event in Jakarta. This recognition follows the release of the QS World University Rankings by Subject on March 12, 2025, where UNY's English Language and Literature, as well as Education programs, were ranked among the top 251-300 in the world.

The Master's Program in Physical Education at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) recently underwent a comprehensive field assessment by the Indonesian Educational Accreditation Agency (LAMDIK). The evaluation was conducted by esteemed assessors Prof. Dr. Nurul Ihsan from Universitas Negeri Padang and Prof. Dr. M.E. Winarno from Universitas Negeri Malang. Upon arrival, the assessors were warmly welcomed by UNY's Rector, Prof. Dr. Sumaryanto, along with other university leaders.

The Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) organized a webinar titled "National Examination in the Perspective of Equitable and Humanistic Education."
