Sustainable Partnership for Quality Education in Kuningan

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) hosted a partnership agreement signing with Universitas Kuningan (Uniku), West Java, at the Main Senate Meeting Room on Thursday, November 28, 2024. The event was organized by UNY's Directorate of Research, Collaboration, Information Systems, and Business (RKSIU).

Uniku's Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Dikdik Haryadi, S.E., M.Si., accompanied by university leaders, engaged in discussions with UNY representatives led by Prof. Dr. Margana, M.Hum., M.A., Vice Rector for RKSIU.

Public Lecture with Hino Motor Sales Indonesia (HMSI)

Firmansyah, Customer and Training Development Department Head of Hino Motor Sales Indonesia (HMSI), delivered a public lecture to Automotive Engineering Education students of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the UNY Rectorate. The session focused on the technical and economic impact of the Common Rail System, a modern fuel injection technology for diesel engines.

Professor of UNY Elected as AASVET President

Professor of the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Prof. Dr. Mochamad Bruri Triyono, has been elected as President of the Asian Academic Society for Vocational Education and Training (AASVET). Established in 2005, AASVET is a leading academic organization founded by prominent scholars in vocational education and training from across Asia, dedicated to the exchange of knowledge, research findings, and best practices in vocational education among Asian nations.

Successful Completion of ETSS 2024: A New Era of Sustainable Education at UNY

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) recently concluded the Education and Technology Summer School (ETSS) 2024, an international program that underscored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. With the theme “EcoEduTech: Potential of AI in Reshaping Teaching and Learning,” the event attracted 28 participants, including doctoral candidates, early-career researchers, and professionals from Germany, France, Norway, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Laos, Brazil, Sudan, and Indonesia.

Gunungkidul, September 16, 2024 - Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) once again showed its commitment in advancing drone technology by hosting the 2024 Indonesian Flying Robot Contest (KRTI). Strengthening the Relationship between UNY and the University of Poitiers: A Sustainable International Collaboratio

The cooperation between Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) and the University of Poitiers, France, which began 10 years ago through the Erasmus program, continues to grow rapidly. The partnership began with the visit of Dr. Gerard Mauco, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at the University of Poitiers, and his wife Christine Mauco, a music expert from the Conservatorium of Poitiers, to UNY. On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, the Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Semarang (SPs UNNES) visited the Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (SPs UNY). The group from SPs UNNES was led by the Coordinator of the Study Program, Prof. Dr. Sarwi, M.Si., who was accompanied by eight students of the Master of Economics and Development Education  program. Community Empowerment Program in Margoagung Village: Innovation and Digitalization of Bamboo Crafts by the PPK Team of Ormawa Haska JMF FMIPA UNY

Margoagung Village, known as a cultural pioneer village, continues to maintain the tradition of bamboo crafts that have been passed down from generation to generation. However, in this modern era, innovation is needed to ensure its sustainability and increase competitiveness. Responding to these challenges, the PPK Team of Ormawa Haska JMF FMIPA UNY came up with the Bamboo Craft Diversification and Digital Marketing Program to help the craftsmen in this village not only maintain, but also develop their bamboo crafts.
