SciFlow Integrates Science into Outdoor Adventures

A student team from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), consisting of Pangesti Dwi Nugraheni (Biology Education), Pradika Larasati (Mathematics), Fauziatul Adhimah (Chemistry), and Sifa’ul Janah (Biology Education), has established SciFlow Event Organizer. According to Pangesti Dwi Nugraheni, SciFlow operates in the fields of services, tourism, and trade, emphasizing science-based outbound activities. “The initiative began with the idea of increasing visits to the Kampung Wisata Air Titik 0 Km in Central Java by integrating science into outdoor adventures,” she stated on Monday (12/23).

SoBi UNY Plants 100 Teak Trees in Kampung Emas Iroyudan

Scholarship recipients from Pertamina’s Sobat Bumi (SoBi) program at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) successfully held the second installment of their "Sustainable Energy, Beautiful Village" initiative in Kampung Emas, Iroyudan Hamlet. In celebration of Pertamina's 67th anniversary, the event featured the planting of 100 teak saplings, demonstrating a commitment to environmental conservation and community empowerment through collaboration with Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Lebah Emas.

UNY Alumni Couplepreneur Introduces Eco-Friendly Palm Wax Batik at InnovFest Suzhou 2024 in China

CV. Smart Batik Indonesia, a Yogyakarta-based company founded by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) alumni, was invited to the Innovation Festival (InnovFest) Suzhou 2024. Organized by the National University of Singapore Research Institute (NUSRI) Suzhou and supported by NUS Enterprise, the festival serves as a global platform connecting Chinese tech companies with international innovations. Since 2015, InnovFest has drawn over 4,600 participants from 2,400 organizations and showcased more than 430 innovative technology projects from over ten countries.

UPM Academic Visit to Lab school of UNY: Advancing International Collaboration

Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) conducted an academic visit to SMP Labschool of UNY as part of its efforts to enhance educational quality and foster international collaboration. The delegation, comprising 20 UPM students led by Dr. Muhammad Arsyaf Che Amat, Head of the Department of Counsellor Education & Counselling Psychology, was warmly welcomed by the Lab school management, including Dr. Eva Imania, M.Pd., Head of the Educational Psychology and Guidance Laboratory at Faculty of Education and Pschology of  UNY.

Sustainable Partnership for Quality Education in Kuningan

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) hosted a partnership agreement signing with Universitas Kuningan (Uniku), West Java, at the Main Senate Meeting Room on Thursday, November 28, 2024. The event was organized by UNY's Directorate of Research, Collaboration, Information Systems, and Business (RKSIU).

Public Lecture with Hino Motor Sales Indonesia (HMSI)

Firmansyah, Customer and Training Development Department Head of Hino Motor Sales Indonesia (HMSI), delivered a public lecture to Automotive Engineering Education students of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the UNY Rectorate. The session focused on the technical and economic impact of the Common Rail System, a modern fuel injection technology for diesel engines.

Professor of UNY Elected as AASVET President

Professor of the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Prof. Dr. Mochamad Bruri Triyono, has been elected as President of the Asian Academic Society for Vocational Education and Training (AASVET). Established in 2005, AASVET is a leading academic organization founded by prominent scholars in vocational education and training from across Asia, dedicated to the exchange of knowledge, research findings, and best practices in vocational education among Asian nations.

Successful Completion of ETSS 2024: A New Era of Sustainable Education at UNY

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) recently concluded the Education and Technology Summer School (ETSS) 2024, an international program that underscored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. With the theme “EcoEduTech: Potential of AI in Reshaping Teaching and Learning,” the event attracted 28 participants, including doctoral candidates, early-career researchers, and professionals from Germany, France, Norway, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Laos, Brazil, Sudan, and Indonesia.

Collaboration between UNY and Indonesian Air Force for the Future of Drone Technology

Gunungkidul, September 16, 2024 - Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) once again showed its commitment in advancing drone technology by hosting the 2024 Indonesian Flying Robot Contest (KRTI). Held at the Gading Airfield, this event is the result of collaboration between the Indonesian Talent Development Center (BPTI), the National Achievement Center, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, UNY, and the Adisutjipto Air Force.
