In the future, I hope this program will become a driver of sustainable economy," said Dr. Supardi, M.Pd, Vice Dean for Academic, Student and Alumni Affairs of the Faculty of Social, Law and Political Sciences UNY on Monday (31/7).
The program entitled "Omah Anyam: Optimizing Creative Economy-Based MSMEs in Sendangarum Village to Realize an Independent Village in the Era of Society 5.0" shows the commitment of UNY students in supporting the development of the creative economy in the region, especially receiving an enthusiastic response from the local community. The head of Sendangarum village, Wiwik Retno Yulianti, S.Ag also welcomed the activities to be carried out by the UNY Labdagati Team.
To provide an overview of this program, the team explained the concept of Omah Anyam building design, a series of activities, and the sustainability of the program to be achieved for 2023-2025. It is hoped that through this program, UNY can have a direct impact on improving the welfare of the community through woven bamboo handicraft products that can compete in the global market.
