Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) recently embarked on a collaborative venture with Mahidol University and Chulalongkorn University from February 25 to March 1, 2024, aimed at enriching the educational experience of its staff. The initiative sought to deepen understanding of academic practices and institutional management within higher education.

A distinguished group of participants from UNY, led by individuals such as Ibnu Kholdun Sukma Aji, S.Si, Lalita Sari, A.Md, Leona Patria Devi, B.Ed, Ismoyo Waluyo K, S.Pd., M.Pd, Sugeng Priyanto, S.Tr.A.B, Mohamad Fadhli, S.Pd, Hadna Andy Al F, A.Md, Rita Darmawati, S.IP, Virga Renitasari, S.Pd, Isti Yunita, Ph.D., Dewi Eka Murniati, Ph.D embarked on this enlightening journey.

The primary objective was to expand knowledge of educational practitioners regarding the implementation of the Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, encompassing teaching, research, and community service. Participants gained hands-on experience of these activities at partner universities, enhancing their understanding of their execution.

Key insights included exposure to institutional management and collaborative endeavors at the partner universities. This not only enriched participants' knowledge but also provided practical insights applicable within their departments.

Visits to various locations within partner universities, including the International Office and Faculty of Science at Mahidol University, The Siriraj Medical Journal at the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, and the International Office at the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, provided valuable insights into diverse academic pursuits.

Future plans include designing joint summer courses and initiating staff exchange programs, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and academic exchange. These endeavors aim to enhance educational practices and international cooperation within higher education, equipping staff with skills to navigate academia's evolving landscape.

The collaborative venture between UNY, Mahidol University, and Chulalongkorn University underscores a commitment to enhancing educational practices and fostering international cooperation. Through such efforts, institutions aim to enrich the educational experience for students and stakeholders alike.
