The Beijing and the Republic of Indonesia embassy facilitated the establishment of the "Indonesia-China-Industry-University Research" alliance to accommodate entrepreneurs and students for both countries. This alliance is a breakthrough in terms of link and match between the industrial sector and universities, said Yaya Sutarya. A total of 150 Chinese universities were ready to cooperate in the alliance, which consists of TOP100 QS WUR and Non-TOP100 QS WUR Colleges. Djauhari Oratmangun as the Ambassador of China and Mongolia hopes that this opportunity can be utilized by PT and students in Indonesia.

The alliance was established by Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation Ltd, and 70 other universities, companies, and institutions to encourage China-Indonesia collaboration in scientific education and research.

The forum established an international platform for governments, think tanks, a company, and media from China and Indonesia to contribute to strengthening the mutual partnership between the two sides, as well as further developing economic and trade cooperation in the future.

In addition, UNY is present in the framework of achieving international cooperation for visiting professors, joint research, joint publication and citations, and joint curriculum (transfer credit, summer course, and double degree). There are also opportunities for cooperation in Industrial internships for UNY students in vocational and non-vocational fields. (Faqih Ma'arif, Tj. Dev)
