From Silver Jewelry to Global Learning in a Creative Workshop with Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore in Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta, 18 September 2025 - In an activity to strengthen international collaboration, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) and Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) Singapore once again hosted a short course program titled Overseas Education & Learning Programme (OELP). This program, part of Batch 5, highlights cultural diversity and international education. Participants from NYP's School of Health and Social Sciences had the opportunity to attend a silver-making workshop in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Yogyakarta, 17 September 2025 - Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) welcomed a group of students from Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore through the Overseas Education & Learning Programme (OELP) Batch 5. One of the main highlights of their visit was a batik workshop, aimed at introducing Indonesia’s cultural heritage while strengthening academic and cultural collaboration between the two institutions. The activity also reflected several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
