UNY PLK Students Introduce Automatic Street Lighting System to Promote an Energy-Efficient Hamlet in Karangasem

Students of the Off-Campus Learning Program (PLK) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), who are carrying out community service activities in Karangasem Hamlet, initiated the installation of Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) timers for street lighting in every neighborhood unit (RT). The program was implemented as an effort to improve electricity efficiency while simplifying the management of street lighting for the local community.

UNY Marks 62nd Anniversary with 4.4 KM Fun Walk and Hundreds of Door Prizes

Thousands of members of the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) academic community gathered across the campus area this morning to participate in the Fun and Healthy Walk held in celebration of the university’s 62nd Anniversary. The event was officially opened by the Rector of UNY through a symbolic flag-off ceremony in front of the Rectorate Building.

Promoting Healthy Living Among Madrasah Teachers in Sleman

The contribution of academics to improving the quality of human resources in society was once again demonstrated through the dedication of lecturers from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). On Monday, 18 May 2026, Dr. Ranintya Meikahani, M.Pd., a lecturer from the Department of Elementary School Physical Education, Faculty of Sports Sciences and Health (FIKK) UNY, served as a speaker in the Third Batch of Sports Personnel Training. Held at Prima SR Hotel & Convention, the program involved 43 teachers from RA, MI, and MTs levels across Sleman Regency.
