MAPPING THE INTERESTS AND TALENTS OF INDONESIAN SCHOOL (SILN) STUDENTS IN SAUDI ARABIA

UNY held online talent mapping for Jeddah and Makkah Indonesian School students on Thursday, February 3, 2022. In this activity, the UNY psychology team led by Dr. Rita Eka Izzaty, M.Sc. will assess the students of class XVII Jeddah, totaling 40 students and from Makkah as many as 8 students. Also attending this activity, Sutikno, M.Pd., as the principal of SILN Jeddah and the Acting Principal of SILN Makkah.

"This activity aims to explore the talents and interests of SILN students in Jeddah and Makkah so that later they can continue to the higher education level according to their goals," said Prof. Siswantoyo as Vice-Rector for Planning and Cooperation of UNY. Along with the assessments, UNY also opens the opportunity for Indonesian students in Arabia to continue their studies at UNY by choosing study programs according to their respective interests.

Sutikno welcomed this program because the hope for students to continue their studies at UNY was more open and could further strengthen the collaboration between UNY and the Indonesian Schools of Jeddah and Makkah, which had been established since 2021.
