GEDUNG MERAH FESTIVAL FOR FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES NEW STUDENTS

New student of UNY Social Sciences Faculty attended Festival Gedung Merah or commonly refered as FGM.    The event was held at Taman Pancasila UNY and attended by around 650 new students. The festival was held annually by the committee of new students’ orientation. This event is expected to entertain and introduce 15 students’ organization, community and students club activity to 2019 freshmen. 

The festival is part of the activity to introduce university life for UNY new students. By attending the activity, new students will get complete overview on what to do along with the required academic activities and optional extra activities.

“Previous FGM was part of the closing of technical meeting toward the student orientation program. Later on, new students will have national talk show, department introduction, students ethics info session, Red Discussion, Action Management and finally Festival Tanpa Atap (FTA). For FTA event, new students will get the chance to perform,” Akil as the head of faculty committee explained. (Latifah Diah A / JK))
