LIDM is a competition initiated by the National Achievement Center - Ministry of Education and Culture Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Puspresnas Kemdikbud Ristek-RI) which has been held for the third time in 2021. LIDM itself aimed to be a place for forming and preparing students to tackle issues through various innovations and digitalization. LIDM competes in five divisions of innovation and creation works which are the Digital Technology Innovation Division of Education, the Education Digital Material Innovation Division, the Digital Education Video Division, the Digital Poster Division, and the Digital Microteaching Division.
Dr. Pujianto, the lecturer in the Faculty of Mathematics and Science (MIPA), was pleased that the two teams he mentored managed to win first place at LIDM this time. "The current era of education has no limits on space and time, can learn anywhere, anytime and with anyone through technology, in accordance with the direction of Merdeka Belajar initiated by the Education Minister," said Pujianto. LIDM is expected to be a place where students could invent more creative products in the field of digital media technology to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Athi’ Nur Auliati, Aurum’s leader, felt grateful, happy, and proud to be selected as the winner from 800 digital poster division teams in Indonesia. "Last year I was just a finalist, thank God this year it's gold," Athi said. She hoped that in the future more and more students would participate to set up their best innovation in the education technology field. Through participating in LIDM competition, UNY has contributed to achieve the goal of SDGs 4 which focuses on increasing quality education.
