UNY FACULTY OF EDUCATION LECTURER PARTICIPATED IN WEBINAR ENTITLED “MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION OF INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL”

The Journal and Educational Science Research Team, Faculty of Education, Yogyakarta State University (UNY), held a Webinar activity with the title "Preparation Manuscript of International Journal" with Prof. Dr. Huseyin Uzunboylu, the editor of well-known and reputable international journals "Cyriot Journal of Educational Sciences" Monday, April 5th 2021, through the Virtual Zoom Meeting.

Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Cooperation Division, Faculty of Education (FIP) UNY, Dr. Cepi Safruddin AJ, M.Pd, in his speech explained that this activity aims to provide assistance to UNY lecturers, especially for Faculty of Education's lecturer, in order to improve the quality of their journal articles so it can be submitted on reputable international journal websites

Prof. Dr. Huseyin Uzunboylu explained that the paper should ideally match the focus and scope of the intended journal. "In the aspect of the paper's substance, a paper must come from valid and reliable findings, have never been published before, and based on original ideas without plagiarism and have the novelty of the findings," he explained. He also added that another important thing about the paper is that it must be prepared with the author guidelines which had been set out in each journal, for example the composition of the papers in the form of introduction, method, result, discussion and implementation.

In the final session, he introduced the Cyriot Journal of Educational Sciences to all seminar participants about how to submit the paper correctly and he also gave information regarding the review process as well as the needed regular checking duration for each paper to be published.

This webinar activity was attended by approximately 60 participants, both from FIP UNY lecturers and several master program students. The participants actively participated in this webinar by asking numbers of questions regarding the topic of the webinar.
