To improve the quality of public service in the digital era, the Center for Apparatus Development at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Puspa Komdigi) organized a technical training titled Excellent Service in the Digital Era, held from June 16–20, 2025. The event welcomed 46 public relations officers and civil servants from various institutions, including Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), which delegated Dedy Herdito to take part.

The training was officially opened by Charviano Hardika, representing the head of Puspa Komdigi. He emphasized the goal of strengthening human resource capacity to deliver fast, accurate, and user-centered public services. “Good service is not only about speed but also empathy, clear communication, and professionalism,” he stated.

Participants studied core topics such as service mindset, excellent service in the digital era, and the role of civil servants as public servants. They were engaged in interactive simulations and practical exercises aimed at helping them apply excellent service principles in real-world scenarios. The committee chair, Sistina Angga Reni, highlighted that Puspa Komdigi remains committed to offering relevant programs that align with the ongoing digital transformation in public service.

UNY’s Vice-Rector for Human Resources and Legal Affairs, Prof. Siswanto, expressed that the training would enhance service culture and strengthen UNY’s image as a modern, service-oriented institution. “We expect participants to help accelerate digital-based service systems that are fast, transparent, and accountable,” he said.

Dedy Herdito, UNY’s representative, shared that the training provided strategic insights and hands-on skills that directly support improvements in public information services. “It helped sharpen our ability to deliver responsive, communicative, and citizen-focused services,” he noted.
