The National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) team carried out a field assessment at UNY on the applied bachelor of Office Administration study program, Faculty of Economics. The team assessed on March 25-26, 2022. Prof. Dr. Naili Farida, M.Sc. (Universitas Diponegoro) and Dra. Maya Setiawardani, M. Pd. (Poliliteknik Negeri Bandung) came to UNY as a representative assessor to confirm various data from the Office Administration Applied Bachelor study program.

Improving the Quality of Education through Mandarin Language Training and Vocational Learning for Teachers in Indonesia

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) together with the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, the ASEAN-China Center and the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of Najing Vocational University of Industry and Technology (NJUIT) have successfully organized the "Chinese + Vocational Skills: training for local teachers in Indonesia 2022 activity ". Learning more on Prevention and Rehabilition Program of Drug Abuse from BNN

Drug abuse in Yogyakarta is increasing, as evidenced by the disclosure of 28 drug abuse cases from September to October 2021 with 35 suspects by the Regional Police of Yogyakarta. The stage of drug use usually begins with a trial and error stage, which increases to a recreational stage when hanging out with friends. Drug users can also consume actively when they suffer from depression, anxiety, sadness, and stress. When drug users reach the dependence stage, it may interfere with social life, work, or learning processes.

Village RPL Program to Improve the Quality of Human Resources

Bojonegoro Regency, under the leadership of Dr. Hj. Anna Mu'awanah, in collaboration with Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and Universitas Negeri Surabaya, implemented an educational partnership through the Recognition of Prior Learning  (RPL) Program  scheme. This program is part of the Bojonegoro Regent's commitment to improving the quality of human resources in the village.

Integrated Natural Science and Its Learning as an Embodiment of Unity In Diversity

In the context of natural sciences learning, the formation of unity in diversity can be reviewed in 4 aspects. First, the diversity of students' skill development in learning science (covering process skills, practical skills, thinking skills) leads to unity (unity related to thinking strategies), namely conceptualization, problem-solving, and decision making. The second, the diversity of scientific disciplines in reviewing and discussing nature, such as physics, chemistry, biology, geology, astronomy, health, and the environment, leads to unity (natural sciences).

Learning Literacy and Numeracy through cooking

Campus Teaching activities are part of the Merdeka Campus program, which provides learning opportunities and self-development outside the classroom. This activity involves university students becoming teachers, and selected students will be placed in elementary schools in need. One of the UNY students who could participate was Aisyatunnisai Tawakal. The physics education student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences  UNY was assigned at SDN Danupan Temanggung, Central Java.

So far, studying history seems boring and feels less useful for students. History learning is still conventional and rarely associated with contemporary problems. History subjects are the subjects that students are least interested in, especially for high school students or the equivalent. For this reason, the UNY student team consisting of Fitri Astuti and Raras Dhina Pangesti (historical education) and Muhammad Faizud Daroin (informatics engineering education) developed a learning media entitled Maze of History.

Future Coach from UNY for Deaf Athlete

Disability did not stop Wahyu Tri Wibowo's desire to complete a master's degree at the UNY Sports Coaching Education Study Program. Wahyu's willingness to graduate with his Masters in Sports Coaching Education at FIK UNY cannot be separated from his experience when he was a Deaflympics athlete in badminton. Wahyu has participated in the Deaflympics in Taiwan 2009 in Taiwan and managed to win third place and 2017 in Turkey, but has not won it.

Becoming a Mentally Healthy and Productive Student

At the beginning of this semester, UNY students from the Sociology Education Study Program had the opportunity to receive reinforcement through a webinar with the theme "Becoming a Mentally Healthy and Productive Student, How to Deal with free time, laziness and Toxic Friends?" which held online on January 31, 2022, via zoom.
