SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
The Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) Gunungkidul campus hosted Leafestiva 2026 on Tuesday (May 5, 2026), an annual culinary festival themed “One Leaf, Endless Flavors: Leafestiva Full of Creativity.” The event featured a series of activities, including group exercise sessions, seminars, traditional tumpeng tiwul decoration, and exhibitions of food and beverage products.
Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held its Graduation Ceremony for Doctoral, Master’s, Bachelor’s, and Applied Bachelor’s Programs for Period IV, Phase 1 of the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) at the UNY Sports Hall. A total of 835 graduates were officially conferred degrees in a solemn ceremony.
A group of fifth-batch Bintang Mandiri Scholarship recipients from Bank Mandiri recently carried out a social project titled Green Coast Baros in the Baros Mangrove Forest area, located in Tirtohargo, Kretek, Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The initiative was led by Melisa Sekarlina Putri Dayani, a student of Biology Education at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.
