The COVID-19 pandemic has created a need for more massive digital marketing. This problem prompted the UNY Community Service Team to hold digital marketing training for women in Imogiri, Bantul, from 23 to 29 May 2022. There are three stages of activities. In the first stage, the team assisted participants in making online shop logos. Then, the participants received optimization training and offline assistance. In the end, training participants receive advanced assistance.
In the first phase of the activity, the participants received assistance from six UNY Office Administration students. The team led by Nadalia Silmi Fatinah managed to create 12 new logos. These logos result from the identity review process of the businesses managed by the trainees. In the second and third stages, the participants received guidance from a team of UNY lecturers and students.
The community service program led by Prof. Dr. Suranto Aw., aims to improve participants' skills in managing sales through the marketplace. "Digital marketing skills are not exclusive to large companies only. MSME actors, including Imogiri women, must also master them to compete in the era of technological development," said Prof. Suranto.
