Held at the Faculty of Economics’ IDB Building, UNY made sure that every student, regardless of their abilities, had the tools and support needed to take the exam comfortably and equally.

On April 23, 2025, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) hosted a field assessment for its Bachelor of Science Education program, conducted by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Teacher Education (LAMDIK). The assessment aimed to evaluate the program's quality and readiness for accreditation. The session was inaugurated by UNY's Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) successfully hosted the National Computer-Based Written Examination 2025 entrance exam for 11,216 prospective students across five days, from April 23 to April 28, 2025. According to Prof. Eduard Wolok, General Chair of the SNPMB Organizing Committee, a total of 860,975 participants nationwide registered for National Computer-Based Written Examination this year. Most applicants aimed for Bachelor’s programs (799,230), followed by Applied Bachelor’s (45,582), and Diploma programs (16,164).

A group of innovative students from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has found a creative way to turn food waste into a healthy treat. Through the Student Creativity Program in Entrepreneurship (PKM-K), five students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences—Indah Aulia, Telaga Zia, Mufidah Nur, Adinda Putri, and Aghna Jadarah—developed Kedelite, a nutritious snack bar made from soybean skins and jackfruit seeds. Guided by lecturer Dita Puji R., M.Pd., their mission was to create a delicious snack while also reducing food waste.
