Studying Shorinji Kempo Training Model Based on Alor Dance, Charles Nyoman Wali Achieves Doctoral Degree

The traditional dances of Alor, NTT, namely Lego-lego, Moka Nona, and Cakalele have the same basic movements as Shorinji kempo training techniques. Charles Nyoman Wali studied it further in his dissertation entitled Development of Shorinji Kempo Training Model Based on Local Dance of East Nusa Tenggara to Improve Basic Technical and Affective Skills of Kenshi 9-12 Years.

16 UNY Students Tutor BIPA Students At Yale University

In 2023, the second time BIPA FBSB UNY was involved in assisting BIPA students from Yale University to learn Indonesian. This activity is a neat collaboration of UNY, UNNES, and UNS, each represented by Dr. Ari Kusmiatun, M.Hum., Dr. Wati Istanti, M.Pd., and Prof. Dr. Kundharu Saddono, M.Pd., in collaboration with Yale University, New Heaven, USA.

Creating a Roadmap for Study Completion through Writing Camp

One of the things that determines the success of studies in the Masters Program is the completion of the thesis. Based on the results of monitoring, students in the Class of 2019 and 2020 experienced many obstacles, especially meetings with lecturers became awkward and did not have the same view of the direction of research. Another problem faced is publication as a requirement to graduate/take a diploma. The condition of the completion of this final project needs to be monitored, so that the students concerned immediately fulfill all the necessary requirements.

The Rector, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs and the Vice-Rector for Planning and Finance, sent 281 students for community service and teaching practicum this semester.

Workshop on National Movement for Mental Revolution in Character Education

Academic and Student Affairs initiated the Academic and Student Achievement Development Workshop on Tuesday (28/2) at the UNY Hotel Ballroom. It began with a Technical Explanation of Academic and Student Affairs Programs by the Executive Staff of the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs by describing student activities including Pimnas, KRI, ON MIPA, Gemastik, KKCTBN, Satria Data, KBGI, KMHE, KRTI, LIDM, KBMK, KJI, and OLIVIA. In addition, there are still four talent events that need to be socialized, including NUDC, KDMI, Pilmapres, MTQMN, and one POMNA event.

Kindergarten Teacher's Daughter Achieves Highest Grade Point Average in UNY Graduation Ceremony

Latifah Rachmalia Eko Basuki from the Early Childhood Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Psychology achieved the highest undergraduate grade point average with a GPA of 3.93 in the graduation of UNY doctoral, master, bachelor, applied bachelor and diploma programs. The girl born in Yogyakarta on May 26, 2001, besides studying, she is also active in various organizations on campus such as the Faculty PKKMB Committee, Research Student Activity Unit, Student Cooperative Student Activity Unit and Student Executive Board.
