UNY believes that education is an investment in civilization. This belief is what encourages UNY to open a master's degree study program in Education Human Resource Management. "The focus of scientific development of the Education Human Resource Management study program is oriented towards efforts to diversify science and technology, especially human resource management in the field of education with Indonesian identity," said Director of UNY Graduate School, Prof. Anik Ghufron.

Rianty Purnamasari, M. Pd, did not have time to wear her graduation toga from UNY due to an accident and died on Saturday, September 30, 2023, in Riau. Her uncle Sumanto received the diploma on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at UNY Sports Hall.

"The fact is that learning to read is a complex process and does not happen by itself. New UNY students from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences attended the Student Extracurricular Award Workshop (PEM) on September 19, 2023, at the UNY Auditorium. A total of 984 new students participated in this activity. Dr. Cerika Rismayanti, M.Or., Drs. Pujiwiyono, M.Pd., and Laila Nurul Himmah, M.Pd., from UNY Student Affairs attended as speakers.

The UNY student team consisting of Farah Nabila Nur Afifah (Educational Technology), Anggi Anggreini (Educational Technology), Dinda Rahmawati (Guidance and Counseling) and Nandini Rohmi (Mathematics Education) have successfully developed Fun Augmented Reality Early-Age Merried based on Augmented Reality (Funarri).

Financial literacy is not just about numbers and equations. It is about building trust and financial security. By understanding how money works, managing personal finances, and making the right investment decisions, a person will have the necessary life skills. To socialize financial education and empower individuals to take control of their financial future, Generasi Cerdas Keuangan (GCK), together with the Indonesian Muslim Scholars Association (ICMI) and Diajeng Yogyakarta recently organized an exhibition of innovative financial literacy products.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held an undergraduate graduation ceremony for the Bojonegoro Regency Village RPL Program on Sunday (17/9) at the Performance Hall of UNY's Faculty of Language, Arts and Culture. Three hundred eighty-four village officials attended the undergraduate graduation with details of 16 people from the Faculty of Education and Psychology, 186 from the Faculty of Social, Law and Political Sciences, and 182 from the Faculty of Economics and Business.

Eight doctoral students of Technology and Vocational Education of UNY had the opportunity to attend the General Lecture at Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore and the Research Methodology Colloquium at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Through these activities, students learned about the latest trends in education and research methodology.

"I am excited to be active as a student because I have a strong desire to continue to spread benefits to others. The knowledge I learn on campus is a gift from Allah SWT that I must share with anyone in need," said Taufik Hidayat, one of UNY's undergraduate graduates who successfully graduated with a GPA of 3.96.

"Highly educated workers tend to be engaged in the formal, tertiary sector (trade and services) in urban areas. Notably, highly educated workers in the primary sector, especially agriculture, tend to decline, or in other words, there is de-agriculturalization in the distribution of highly educated workers. The open unemployment rate in the higher education group is urban and female," said Prof. Anwar Sanusi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, at the UNY Public Lecture.
