Village RPL Program to Improve the Quality of Human Resources

Bojonegoro Regency, under the leadership of Dr. Hj. Anna Mu'awanah, in collaboration with Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and Universitas Negeri Surabaya, implemented an educational partnership through the Recognition of Prior Learning  (RPL) Program  scheme. This program is part of the Bojonegoro Regent's commitment to improving the quality of human resources in the village.

UNY Student Won the KU82 Shirt Design Contest at Kasetsart University

UNY is always committed to providing a memorable learning experience. For this reason, UNY tries to establish cooperation with various partners to open up student exchange opportunities, internships, and academic and non-academic programs. At the beginning of 2022, UNY has sent students to participate in the credit transfer program. One of the universities that have accepted UNY students is Kasetsart University (KU) Thailand. For January to May 2022, UNY sent Andri Mustiko Wicaksono, a UNY Automotive Engineering Education Study Program student, to study at KU.

FT UNY Students Internship Program in Japan

Students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education and Automotive Engineering Education Faculty of Engineering Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) were selected for the Japanese automotive component company Internship program at  Yutaka Seisakusho Co., on 10/02/2022. Ten students passed the test from the selection process, and two became reserves. The following process will be a medical checkup before departing on June 1, 2022, and will carry out an internship for approximately one year.

Sustainable Crab Cultivation Using Crab Ball in Bantul

Mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) is one type of fishery commodity that can be cultivated. Mangrove crabs are coomonly found in brackish waters overgrown with mangrove plants. Mangrove crab is favored by the public, considering its delicious taste with high nutritional content. However, the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries has determined mangrove crabs as one type of fish (crustaceans) prohibited from being caught in spawning conditions and below the size suitable for catching.

UMY EXTENDS SPORTS FACILITY COOPERATION WITH UNY

After three years running, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta(UMY) extended its partnership with the Faculty of Sport Sciences UNY in terms of Sports Facilities use. According to dr. Maria Ulfa, Ph.D., Head of the Domestic Cooperation Division, said that improving the quality of sports resources. Sport is a vital necessity today, especially during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The Head of the Domestic Special Cooperation Division, who came with 2 of his staff, was warmly welcomed by FIK UNY on Monday (17/1/2022) at the Leadership Meeting Room of the 2nd Floor GPLA FIK.

DISCUSSION ON THE POTENTIAL OF SPORT TOURISM IN MAGELANG

The Faculty of Sport Sciences of UNY and the Department of Youth, Sports, and Tourism of Magelang City met and discussed opportunities for cooperation in Sports, Tourism and Sport Tourism on Thursday, (27/01/2022) at UNY. UNY welcomes this collaboration opportunity and is ready to accommodate the wishes of the Magelang City Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office.

BRIDGING FUTURE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN UNY AND MERANTI ISLANDS REGENCY GOVERNMENT

The Meranti Islands Regency Government of Riau Province signed an MoU with Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The agreement was officially signed by the Regent of Meranti Islands Regency H. Muhammad Adil S.H. and the RRector of UNY Prof. Sumaryanto on February 10, 2022.

UNY GRADUATE SCHOOL OPENS UP OPPORTUNITIES FOR EDUTOURISM COLLABORATION WITH THE KULON PROGO GOVERNMENT

Kulon Progo Regency is one of the five regencies/cities in the Special Province of Yogyakarta, which is located in the western part. Kulon Progo Regency has a varied topography with an altitude between 0 - 1000 meters above sea level, which is divided into three regions. The Menoreh plateau/hills in the northern part with an altitude between 500 to 1000 meters above sea level. The middle part has a height of 100 to 500 meters above sea level. Finally, in the south is a lowland with a coastal area of ​​24.9 km.
