This initiative aims to optimize rainwater management, reduce runoff, and utilize collected rainwater for non-potable purposes like campus irrigation and sanitation.

The need and demand for electricity in Indonesia are significantly increasing, yet the supply of energy sources is diminished. Concerning the issue, water can be a potential resource to be utilized as alternative energy. However, the use of water as alternative energy has not been used optimally. This is what prompted a group of UNY students to invent portable hydroelectric power plants that can meet electricity needs, especially in rural and remote areas.
