The vibrant atmosphere of Yogyakarta in the second week of the two-week program titled "(Poly)Crisis, Cross-Cultural Responses & Resilience," exploring the theme of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 13: disaster mitigation and climate change, not only broadened perspectives but also presented real inspiration.

The Master's Program in Physics Education at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), recently welcomed assessors from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Education (LAMDIK) for a Field Assessment (Asesmen Lapangan). The event, held at UNY’s campus, was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Nur Hidayanto Pancoro Setyo Putro, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D., alongside Vice Rector for Finance Prof. Dr. Lantip Diat Prasojo, S.T., M.Pd., and other university officials.

Entering the second week of a two-week program titled "(Poly)Crisis, Cross-Cultural Responses & Resilience," a delegation from Western Sydney University (WSU) along with Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) visited the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) celebrated its 61st anniversary by hosting the 2025 Festival Dalang Cilik (Young Puppeteer Festival), held from May 13 to 15 at the Pendopo Foodcourt UNY. The Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) tennis team emerged victorious in the 11th Rector Cup Tournament, defeating the Menoreh Club with scores of 8–3 and 8–4 in the final matches held at the Faculty of Vocational Studies tennis courts on Sunday, May 11, 2025. Anggi Datiatur Rahmat, a doctoral candidate from the Doctoral Program in Educational Sciences at the Graduate School of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), has been awarded the highest academic honor, Summa Cum Laude, after successfully defending her dissertation titled “Development of the L-TPASK Framework with a Transformative Approach: Effectiveness in Enhancing 4C Skills and Multipresentation of Junior High School Students.” The open doctoral promotion session was attended by the examination board, promoters, faculty members, students, and invited guests
