UNY Won 11 Achievements Simultaneously in the 2022 Diktiristek Award

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) won several awards at the 2022 Kemdikbudristek Diktiristek Award Night held by the Directorate General of Higher Education on Thursday, 15 December 2022. In the 2022 Diktiristek Public Relations Award, UNY won the Gold Winner for Social Media, Websites, and Integrated Service Units, while the magazine category won a Silver Winner.

UNY Team assists efforts to improve the quality of Soun as local food

Dr. Nani Ratnaningsih STP MP, Dr. Mujiyono ST MT W.Eng and several UNY students are committed to improving the quality of soun products at Adi Mulya Cooperative in Manjung Village, Klaten. Manjung village has been producing soun since the 1950s. In Manjung Village, there are around 70 soun entrepreneurs (including MSMEs) and as much as 30% of the total population of Manjung Village depends on making soun. Every day, they are able to process around 200-300 kg of palm starch into 50-90 kg of dry rice noodles.

Digitalizing and Greening TVET for Sustainable Development

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) must be responsive to changes in technology, workplace requirements, and environmental sustainability issues. To build a sustainable system and prepare for TVET's digital transition, we need policy changes, development of new qualifications, and acquisition of new skills that address the needs of the digital economy and green economy.

UNY Receives a Visit from Management & Science University (MSU) Malaysia

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, through the International Service Office (KLI UNY), on Friday (28/10), received student visits from Management & Science University (MSU) Malaysia. Present to welcome from UNY was the Head of UNY KLI, Basikin, Ph.D. along with the Secretary of KLI, dr. Kartika Ratna Pertiwi and the staff. The group from MSU Malaysia who arrived in Yogyakarta on Tuesday (25/10) was 16 students accompanied by two staff.

Potential Development of Kuwarisan Religious Tourism Village

Kuwarisan Village has the potential as a religious tourism village. To accelerate village development, the UNY community service team held a tourism awareness group sharing session on Friday, October 30, 2022 at the Grave of Grandmother Aroengbinang, Kuwarisan Village, Kebumen Regency.

The event was attended by representatives from the Kebumen Tourism and Culture Office, Gunarso, S.Sos., M.M. and CEO of Goa Pindul Entrepreneurial Destination Dr. Yudan Hermawan, S.Pd., M.Pd. who is also a UNY lecturer as a resource person.
