UNY officially inaugurated Prof. Dr. Dadan Rosana, M.Si, as the Professor from the Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the UNY Auditorium (21/11). He delivered a scientific oration entitled Integrated STEAM Learning Gamelan Music Ethnoscience and AOGS in HOTS Development Towards SDGs in Education. Thus, the total number of professors that UNY has as many as 166 person.

"Clay minerals are particularly important because they have a relatively high surface area. For example, montmorillonite, which I used several times as a research sample, has a specific surface area of 83.9 m2 g -1. This means that 1.1 gram (1 / 4 teaspoons) of clay mineral samples from the soil have a surface area of 100 m2, which is the same as the area of a football field. This indicates that although physically the clay mineral is very small, it has a very large substance for life. "Indonesian soil binds various minerals and elements needed by plants.

"In order to support  Indonesian human resources, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta is committed to organizing a Healthy Campus to support and encourage every academic community and community in the campus to create a healthy environment and behavior, through a comprehensive health approach to the campus structure to improve health status.

The Civil Engineering and Planning Education Department developed an academic collaboration program with Beihang University, Beijing-China. This activity was held from March to November 2020. This activity aims to increase academic horizons and improve the quality of education. Various activities have been carried out including guest lecturers, visiting professors, visiting researchers, joint research and publications.

A good understanding of a written or oral discourse requires a good understanding of literacy as well. Good literacy requires habituation not only to master reading and writing skills, but also comprehensive understanding of all aspects ranging from text, contexts, and contexts that are rapidly developing in society. Understanding must be oriented to the development of linguistic aspects that always relate to social or situation-linked elements including speakers, place, time, and culture, so that it tends to lead to a view that is functional and emphasizes aspects of meaning.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta will inaugurate two professors on Saturday (7/11) at the UNY Auditorium. The two professors who were inaugurated were Professor of Applied Linguistics Prof. Dr. Sulis Triyono, M.Pd. and Professor of Modern Literature Prof. Dr. Wiyatmi, M.Hum from the Language and Arts Faculty. At present, UNY has 164 professors.
