INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY STUDY PROGRAM STUDENTS WIN VIDEO COMPETITION

Dermawan Zain, Nurul Wulan Sari and Nifta Noor Halimah from Instructional Technology Study Program won the First Place in “Indonesia Ayo Aman Berlalu Lintas (IAABL) Video Competition” in animation category. SSEIS 2019 UNITED EDUCATION PRACTIONERS AND RESEARCHERS TO SHARE THEIR FINDING

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Yogyakarta State University held an international conference titled The Science and Science Education International Seminar (SSEIS) 2019, 27-28 / 9/19 in the UNY Rector's courtroom. ASIC INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION, A STEP TOWARDS WORLD CLASS UNIVERSITY

Various attempts have been made by UniversitasNegeri Yogyakarta to earn the position as a World Class University (WCU). One of the attempt is to get international accreditation from ASIC (Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges & Universities). In Batch 2, the ASIC Inspector who conducted the assessment of the study program at UNY consisted of Lee Hammond and Osman Suleman. Lee Hammond is the CEO of ASIC who has expertise in the fields of Education Management, Staff Development, Educational Leadership, Quality Assurance and Higher Education.

INFO SESSION ON HEALTH IN UNY

People can get an infectious disease if their immune system is weak and comes in contact with the cause of the infection. To prevent that, it is important to have clean and healthy living habit, keeping hands clean and implementing food safety. Such statement is given by dr. FINTECH AND STUDENT LIFESTYLE

Recently there has been a trend in the use of financial services based on digital technology or known as financial technology (fintech). The trend of the use of fintech also increased rapidly from 7% in 2006-2007 to 78% in 2017. This interesting fact  has made three UNY students, Meta Munita Sari (Accounting 2016), NurulKhasanah (Accounting Education 2015), and Apfi Anna Krismonita (Economic Education 2016) examines the impact of fintech on student lifestyles.

BECOMING A MAGNIFICENT PROFESSIONAL TEACHER

Based on the Law on Teachers and Lecturers No. 14 of 2005 states that teachers must have academic qualifications, competencies, educator certificates, physically and mentally healthy, and have the ability to realize national education goals. Teacher competencies include pedagogical competencies, personality competencies, social competencies, and professional competencies obtained through professional education.

MEDIA AWARENESS MOVEMENT TO IMPROVE TOURISM

There are many interesting tourist destinations in Yogyakarta. One of them is Jonge Lake, located in Jonge Village, Pancarejo Village, Semanu District, Gunungkidul Regency. This lake looks beautiful because it is surrounded by an artificial forest and has an area of approximately 3 hectares so it is very comfortable to be a place of recreation. However, the  Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) skill in managing and utilizing technology for tourism promotion are still insufficient.
