KSI MIST UNY DEVELOPS CULTURAL TOURISM POTENTIAL IN TAMBAKROMO GUNUNGKIDUL

The UNY MIPA Scientific Study Group (KSI MIST) strengthens the development of village empowerment in Tambakromo Gunungkidul. Through the Village Empowerment Development Program (P3D) scheme, UNY students have carried out a series of programs that will take place from August to November 2021. This activity involves the Tabakromo youth group, housewives, art activists, and cultural assistants.

PROCESSING TEMPE WASTE INTO ORGANIC FERTILIZER

Making tempe produces waste that emits an unpleasant odor and contaminates waterways. This waste can be in washing water, cooking water, and soaking water for soybeans and tempeh dregs. However, in wastewater-boiled soybeans, there are nutrients Phosphorus (P), Nitrogen (N), and Potassium (K) which are needed for plant growth rate. Nastiti Estiningtyas, a student of the UNY Science Education study program, tries to process tempe waste to be useful and safe for the surrounding environment.

CELEBRATING THE 57TH UNY’S ANNIVERSARY BY CONDUCTING COMMUNITY SERVICE AND CHARITY IN KULON PROGO

UNY celebrate the 57th anniversary by having community service and charity event at Bugel Hamlet, Kulon Progo District, Yogyakarta on Sunday (6/6). “This activity is part of collaboration implementation between LPPM UNY with the government of Kulon Progo District. We wish to develop more research and innovation for Bugel in particular and Kulon Progo community in general,” said Prof. Samuel Hadi as the chairman of LPPM UNY.

THE CULTURE, ENVIRONMENT AND MITIGATION CENTER (PUSBUDLINGMIT) LPPM UNY CONDUCTING INTEGRATED SERVICE PROGRAMS IN KULON PROGO

One of the missions of the Cultural, Environmental and Mitigation Center (Pusbudlingmit) LPPM UNY is "Conducting community service activities according to community needs, especially in the fields of culture, environment and mitigation". Therefore, Pusbudlingmit LPPM UNY which is currently chaired by Dr. Tien Aminatun is active in conducting community service activities, one of which is an integrated community service activity held on Saturday-Sunday, 22-23 May 2021 in Bugel Village, Kapanewon Panjatan, Kulon Progo Regency.
