Corruption is an act carried out by public officials, where they abuse the public trust authorized to them to gain personal advantage. Meanwhile, according to Law 31/1999 in conjunction with Law 20/2001, corruption is any person who intentionally, against the law, commits an act to enrich himself or another person or a corporation that results in loss of state finances or the country's economy. The direct impacts of corruption may cause expensive health and education costs, increasing poverty and crime rates, and slower economic growth.

USING PHOTOCATALYSTS TO DEGRADE SYNTHETIC DYE WASTE

The UNY students team has presented “Nanocomposite ZnO/Carbon Dots Cassava Outer Shell as a Photocatalyst for Methylene Blue Dyes Waste Degradation” at the World Youth Invention and Innovation Award (WYIIA) 2021. Their presentation has succeeded in convincing the judges to give award silver medals.

As a part of implementation on the collaboration between UNY and the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, UNY is ready to facilitate activities held between the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel (GTK) of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing in an activity entitled "Leadership Training from CLEC Ministry of Education China".

ENRICHING THE APPLICATION OF BATIK MOTIF THROUGH THE ABDARTA BATIK LEATHER BAG

Based on market research from a student team consisting of Adigdya Pangestu (craft education), Azizah Nuzulul Rohmah (Indonesian language and literature education) and Rinda Lestari (economic education), concluded that most bag products combined with batik, usually only use common batik pattern.

Athi' has completed her service at SDN Guluk-Guluk II, Guluk-Guluk District, Sumenep Regency, Madura, East Java. Her experience in teaching in Madura provides inspiration on how to promote quality education in remote areas. Not surprisingly, Athi' was invited as a speaker at the Kampus Merdeka Roadshow Episode 1 with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya.
