Processing Coconut into Sweet and Savory Chips

Coconut is one of the typical tropical plants found in Bojong 3 Village, Panjatan, Kulonprogo. Citra Ramadhani, a diploma student of Food Engineering UNY, tried to develop coconut processing innovations in the form of coconut chips. "The community has not optimally utilized raw coconut, so I took the initiative to process coconut into chips," said Citra on Thursday (20/4).

Peanuts are one of Gunungkidul's famous crops. Peanuts have many benefits, including reducing the risk of cancer, preventing the formation of gallstones, maintaining heart health, controlling blood sugar levels and helping to lose weight. UNY Lecturer Researched the Potential of Hemp Fiber as a Bulletproof Material

Following Law No. 2 of 2003, the Indonesian government encourages using natural and artificial resources to improve national defense. Preserving the Kancet Ledo Dance through the Rosemery Robot

Preservation of arts and culture can go hand in hand with technological development. This message emerged from the participation of the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Robot Team in the Regional 2 Dance Robot Contest in 2022 at the Sepuluh November Institute of Technology, Surabaya. The UNY robot team featured Robot Rosemery, who danced Kancet Ledo and won second place. This robot contest is a part of the Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI).

Many people are trying to have an ideal weight through exercise and diet. Unfortunately, this effort is not always easy because it is challenging to avoid snacking. GET RID OF DENGUE FEVER MOSQUITOES WITH GALANGAL EXTRACT

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is commonly found in most tropical and subtropical regions. DHF is caused by the dengue virus, which enters the human bloodstream through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Aedes aegypti's life cycle starts from the egg, larva, pupa, and adult mosquito stages. The egg, larva, and pupa stages of mosquitoes are in the water, while as adults, mosquitoes actively fly to find food from human blood, animal blood, or plant extracts.

UNY’S ROBOT MOBO EVO UNY WON THE FIRST PLACE IN KRI

Robot Mobo Evo from UNY managed to achieve first place in the National Robot Indonesia Contest (KRI) held this week online. This competition is organized by the National Achievement Center, Ministry of Cultural Education Research and Technology.  Mobo Evo was ranked number one in the Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI) Wheeled division which is one of the new categories that adopting 1997’s RoboCup Middle Size League international level.
