The Regional Secretary of North Kalimantan Province, Dr. H. Suriansyah, M. AP, led a cooperation visit to UNY on February 2, 2024. "North Kalimantan was formed based on Law No. 20 of 2012 with a population of only 700 thousand people. As a province that is still 12 years old, we are progressively cooperating in various fields, such as improving teacher academic qualification and quality," said Suriansyah.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta signed a memorandum of understanding with Bank Woori Saudara (BWS) at UNY Hotel, on January 15, 2024. Academic discussion between UNY and UNUD related to strawberry propagation by meristem culture

The Department of Biology Education of UNY invited expert Prof. Dr. Ir. Rindang Dwiyani, M.Sc. from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Udayana (UNUD) Bali, to discuss the propagation of strawberries by meristem culture. This method is one of the in vitro culture techniques commonly used for the purpose of producing plants that are free from virus, bacterial and fungal pathogens.

Cooperation between UNY and Kimia Farma - drug test for employees

To prevent drug abuse and self-detection from drug use, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta held a drug test for lecturers and teaching staff. The drug test was held at the Health and Sport Center Building of UNY's Faculty of Sport Sciences on Thursday (19/10) and is an annual agenda attended by around 200 participants.

UNY support in lifelong education for village officials of Bojonegoro Regency

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held an undergraduate graduation ceremony for the Bojonegoro Regency Village RPL Program on Sunday (17/9) at the Performance Hall of UNY's Faculty of Language, Arts and Culture. Three hundred eighty-four village officials attended the undergraduate graduation with details of 16 people from the Faculty of Education and Psychology, 186 from the Faculty of Social, Law and Political Sciences, and 182 from the Faculty of Economics and Business.
