The Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Culture (FBSB) of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) held a series of guest lectures from October 20 to 23, 2026, as part of its long-term academic collaboration with the University of Münster, Germany.

The Robotics Team of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) has once again achieved success at UNLIMITED 2026, organized by Diponegoro University (UNDIP) in Semarang, Central Java. Competing in the robotics competition themed “Intelligent Systems in Action: Engineering Autonomous Robots for Industry 6.0,” three UNY teams secured two first-place titles, one second-place title, and a Best Presentation award.

For Muhammad Yunus, a 2024 Industrial Engineering student at the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (UNY), the KIP Kuliah scholarship has provided a pathway to achieving his dream of attending university despite his family's financial limitations.

The 4th Nusantara Creative Competition (NCC 4) and the 3rd National Essay Competition (NESCO 3), recently held in Bali, provided a platform for students from Yogyakarta State University (UNY) to showcase their achievements. Three UNY delegation teams won multiple medals in the national-level essay and poster competitions organized by Nusantara Muda in collaboration with the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Udayana University.

The Garuda UNY Team has once again achieved an outstanding result at the 2026 Energy-Efficient Car Contest (Kontes Mobil Hemat Energi/KMHE), held from October 1–4, 2026, at the University of Jember. Competing with its Urban Concept MPD Gasoline vehicle, the team secured first place with an impressive efficiency of 470.86 km/L, successfully defending its championship title in the same category as the previous year's competition.

The NEXARA Candirejo Community Service Program (KKN) team from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) organized an innovative workshop on transforming locally produced goat's milk into soap in collaboration with the Sekar Rejeki Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Brangkal Hamlet, Candirejo Village, Borobudur District, Central Java.

More than 100 artworks from various countries are being showcased at ICo T•S•A•E (International Collaboration on Trans-Sensory Art Exhibition), hosted by the Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Culture (FBSB) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). Officially opened on September 27, the exhibition runs until October 6, 2026, at the FBSB Department of Art Education Gallery, UNY.
