GARUDA UNY READY TO FACE DYNAMIC EVENT IN STUDENT FORMULA JAPAN

Last Tuesday (5/9) was the first day of Student Formula Japan (SFJ) competition. Recorded 98 teams from eight countries to register in Ecopa Stadium, Shizouka Perfecture, Japan. The teams that managed to escape immediately made preparations for the first event, namely Technical Inspection (TI). IT is an important event because the jury will conduct a direct inspection of the vehicle by checking the suitability of the vehicle with the specified regulation. Garuda UNY with FG-17 formula cars look nimble with successfully complete the IT process in one day only.

FACULTY OF SPORT SCIENCE’S STUDENTS WON GOLD MEDAL AT THE SEA GAMES 2017

Fighting in the international arena to the name of the nation is the dream of all Indonesian students. Successfully lifting Indonesia’s name in other countries, especially when the moment of independence as it is now was a special gift at the 72nd anniversary of RI. It was Prima Wisnu Wardhana, a student of Physical, Health, and Recreation Education (PJKR) UNY Faculty of Sport Science, who recently won SEA Games 2017 gold medal in Malaysia.

Yogyakarta State University and the Association of Visual Arts Teachers of Kedah, Malaysia initiated the cooperation with the signing of Letter of Intent (LoI) at the LKBH Meeting Room of the University, the signing of the LoI was represented by Puan Azizah Ibrahim from SMK Tengku Seri Indera Putra and Dr. Widyastuti Purbani from the Faculty of Languages and Arts, UNY, Friday, July 28, 2017.

ROSEMERY UNY, THE BEAUTIFUL ROBOTS WON THE FIRST RANK AT KONTES ROBOT INDONESIA (INDONESIA ROBOT CONTEST) 2017

Indonesia is always full of its youths’ masterpieces. One of them was Rosemery. Rosemery were dancing robots which were created by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta’s students. These robots got the first winner in the Indonesia Dancing Robot Contest (Kontes Robot Seni Tari Indonesia) which was held on 8 – 9 July 2017 in Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This contest was an annually prestigious competition held by The Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of Republic of Indonesia. This year, there were 93 robots coming from various universities in Indonesia to compete.

YSU WON TWO GOLD MEDALS IN THE INTERNATIONAL INVENTION AND INNOVATIVE COMPETITION (INIIC) 2017, MALAYSIA

Information Technology Team of division 2 Technology Engineering UKM (Student Activity Units), State University of Yogyakarta (YSU) successfully won two gold medals in the International Invention and Innovative Competition (InIIC) organized by State Library of Malaysia in cooperation with University of Malaya and MNNF.

The event was held on 6-7 May 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For this event, UNY flew 2 teams to compete.

FMS OF YSU ORGANIZED THE 4TH ICRIEMS

Faculty Of Mathematics And Natural Sciences of Yogyakarta State University organized the 4th International Conference on Research, Implementation and Education of Mathematics and Science (4th ICRIEMS) on Monday-Tuesday (15-16/5) at the auditorium of YSU and was opened by Vice Rector I, Dr. Margana. Also present Vice Rector IV, Dr. rer.nat Senam, and lecturers’ delegation from partner university, such as Univesiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia, Yala Rajabhat University, etc.
