In his presentation, the Professor in Malay-Polynesian Linguistics delivered a lecture entitled "Language, Linguistics, and Technologies: Innovations and Continuities."

YSU’s graduate school student of educational technology, Hartoto dan Sella Mawarni, presented their work entitled Developing Learning Analytics Framework Based on Self-Regulated Learning Principle for MOOCs at the Educational Technology World Conference (ETWC) 2016 on 31 July to 4 August 2016 in Bali. The work presented by Hartoto and Sella discussed learning analytics and MOOCs in order to develop and implement the framework in Indonesia.
