YSU AND SEAMEO HELD AN EVALUATION MEETING ON THE ASEAN PRE-SERVICE TEACHER EXCHANGE

YSU hosted the 2nd Evaluation Meeting: Pre Service Teacher Student Exchange in Southeast Asia (SEA-Teacher) activity at UNY Hotel (8/10), which was attended by about 80 participants representing universities in ASEAN. This program was initiated by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) as multilateral activities between the participating countries to implement student exchange activities to implement teaching practices. SEAMEO is an international organization designed to promote cooperation in education, science and culture in Southeast Asia.

FACULTY OF EDUCATION STUDENT EXCHANGE TO AICHI UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, JAPAN

Aichi University of Education, Japan, is one of the partners conjoined by the Yogyakarta State University. The program of cooperation explored by both parties is the Student Exchange program with the program named Aichi University of Education (AUE) Student Exchange Program, where every year there is always a student of YSU who attended the program for a period of 6 to 12 months.

PRATIWI WON A GOLD MEDAL IN THE NATIONAL SPORTS WEEK (PON) 2016 IN BANDUNG

Winning a gold medal for the birthplace, of course, is a matter of pride. That is what Pratiwi Adhiati Kusumawardani felt, the students of class of 2012 of Department of Management, Faculty of Economics (FE) YSu. The struggle over the last year has yielded a great result. Together with her teammate, Tiwi, usually she is called, also contributed a gold medal for the Special District of Yogyakarta (DIY) in the Aquatic Synchronized Swimming number at the National Sports Week in 2016 in Bandung.

YSU GRABBED GOLD MEDAL IN THE 3RD INTERNATIONAL YOUNG INVENTOR AWARD, SURABAYA

Rizal Justian Setiawan, student majoring in Mechanical Engineering Education FE YSU, along with four students of the Yogyakarta State University, Fauziyyah Diyah (Chemistry, 2014), Titik Wulandari (Mathematics, 2014), Shinta Hanifati (Physics, 2013) and Rizka Alina (English Education, 2013) have marked another achievement in an International Competition.

TECHNOLOGICAL DESIGN COLLABORATION WITH YAMAGUCHI UNIVERSITY, JAPAN-FE YSU

Yamaguchi University, Japan sent their students again, to collaborate with students of Engine Technique Education, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (9-26 / 9/2016). FE YSU’s collaboration with Yamaguchi has been going on for a long time and has produced several concept designs to provide benefit in the community. This is the fourth year, where Yamaguchi sent students to the FE YSU to collaborate in the field of mechanics.

KANGAN INSTITUTE AUSTRALIA’S STUDENTS MAKING BATIK AT THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Kangan Institute Australia in collaboration with the Educational Clothing Technique Study Program Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (FE YSU) are in the development of batik design and the exploration Indonesian batik business’ potential of in the international world. Kangan Institute sends eleven Textile and Fashion students to learn batik ranging from the type, style, history and up to the batik process.

WELCOMING CEREMONY FOR YSU’S INTERNATIONAL STUDENT 2016

Taking place in the Main Court Room, Rector’s Building, Yogyakarta State University, Monday (19/9/2016) the international students who currently study at YSU joined the Welcome Ceremony which was organized by the (OIAP) YSU. Some of the students are coming from Thailand, China, India, Vietnam, South Korea, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary and countries from the Africa continent.

ICEBESS 2016 TO DEVELOP ACADEMIC SCHOLARS TO FACE THE GLOBAL CHALLENGES
