YSU TEAM GRABBED GOLD MEDAL IN THE 4TH IIIC IN TAIPEI, TAIWAN

Yogyakarta State University (YSU) won 1st Gold Medal Winner in The 4th International Innovation and Invention Competition (IIIC) in 2016 at the Ambassador Hotel, Taipei, Taiwan (13-15 / 12). The annual event was held by Chinese Innovation and Invention Society (CIIS) in cooperation with the Asia Invention Association (AIA).

Prof. Dr. Sutrisna Wibawa, M.Pd is elected as the Rector of the Yogyakarta State University period 2017-2021 through a closed voting session held in the Main Courtroom, Office of The Rector, Thursday (29/12).The assembly voting that was attended by 84 members of the YSU Senate, in which one person in the Senate was not present due to undergo pilgrimage, as well as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education  Prof.

AJOU MOTOR COLLEGE TO OFFER A MINI CAR PROJECT

To explore the cooperation project of making mini cars, Ajou Motor College (AMC) visited the Department of Automotive Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (19 / 12-2016). Dr. Zainal Arifin, Head of the Department, said that the presence of a delegation of AMC is the consolidation of the programs of cooperation that has existed for the last 3 years. ACADEMIC DISCUSSION WITH ZHEJIANG UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, CHINA

Monday (19/12/16) at the East Senate Room, Office of Rector, the leaders of YSU received a visit from Zhejiang University of Technology, China. The group was received by the Vice Rector IV dr.rer.nat Senam and the Deans of the faculties at YSU. The delegation from Zhejiang University of Technology, China were Prof. Mei Xinlin as the Chairman of the University Council, Prof. Wang Wanliang as the Dean of College of Computer Science and Technology, Prof. Chen Yantai as the Dean of College of Politics and Public Administration, Prof.

THE RECTOR CANDIDATES OF YSU PRESENTED THEIR WORKPLANS

Three moral messages full of meaning are posted at the main gate of YSU namely 'Education Investment of Future', 'Piety-Autonomy-Intellectuality' and Cipta-Rasa-Karsa 'are the trust that must be maintained and continued, whoever the leaders and academicians of YSU will be, because there will always be perennial guidelines for responding to changes in internal institutional and external transformations such as globalization.

INNOVATION CAMP TO BE THE ENVIROMENTAL PROBLEM SOLVER

FBS-Karangmalang. The Faculty of Languages and Arts is the only faculty in Yogyakarta State University that is involved in Indonesia Innovative Pedagogy (INDOPED) project. One of the events that helps the implementation of this pedagogy method has been taken place in the form of Innovation Camp, held in Kembang Arum village, Turi District, Sleman, on the 25th to 27th of November 2016.

INDOPED GENERAL MEETING AT YSU

Yogyakarta State University hosted the 3rd INDOPED General Meeting on November 30 to December 2, 2016. INDOPED is a project of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemristekdikti) to enhance the learning capacity of higher education in order to compete globally. The activity was carried out at the Main Courtroom of YSU Rector’s office and was opened by Vice Rector I Wardan Suyanto, MA., Ed.D. (30/11).
