Saudi Arabian Universities Visit to Establish Cooperation

Universities in Saudi Arabia made a series of visits to Yogyakarta led by a delegation from the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia. One of them visited Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and was received in the Main Conference Room of the Rector, Monday (20/2). The delegation from Saudi Arabia was led by the Head of Delegation Dr. Abdulrahman Ali M. Alamri from the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia, with members Dr. Sami Abdulrahman H. Alharbi from the Ministry of Education, Bapall Kamal Jameel A. Alwidyani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Ibrahim Salem N.

Fun Aerobics with IKAPEN UNY

"As a retiree, we must always maintain our strength and health, especially at this age. That's why we always regularly hold aerobics together, not only for our health but also to maintain friendship among retirees like us," said the chairperson of IKAPEN (The association of retiree) UNY, Dr. Sardiman, as he opened the aerobics event with IKAPEN UNY on Sunday morning (19/2) in the courtyard of the Rectorate of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. This aerobics activity is held regularly, and was attended by at least 60 retirees from various units and faculties within UNY.

Collaboration between UNY and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Towards a More Adaptive Institutional Transformation

Universitas Negeri Yogyakara (UNY) and PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the Theater Room, Sugeng Mardiyono Building UNY 3rd floor, Friday (17/2). Arifin Mukhlis, Senior Vice President Enterprise Business of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), stated that the company is not only related to money order services. "We have made many transformations so that we can adaptively answer the challenges of the times," said Arifin Mukhlis.

Healthy Chips from Banana Stem Waste

A team of UNY students consisting of Yustina Rahma Sari, Linda Oktafianingsih, Brina Gamelisa, Kiki Adisti, Rahayu, Tiar Rahmasanti, Arief Kurniawan, Fani Maulana, Muhammad Raihan A and Tria Adelia succeeded in processing banana stems into chips. "After harvesting bananas, banana tree trunks are cut down and rotted. People mostly have not used banana stems, so the stems have no economic value. Therefore, we are interested in making food innovations from banana stems," said Yustina Rahma Sari.

DWP UNY Conducts Industrial Visit to Jepara

Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) UNY on Saturday, February 11, organized an activity "Study of Entrepreneurial Development Based on Jepara Local Culture for the management of Dharma Wanita Persatuan Yogyakarta State University". This activity was attended by all members of DWP UNY and led by the Chairman of DWP UNY, Sulastri Sumaryanto. The DWP UNY activity which this time collaborated with the Academic and Student Affairs section of UNY departed from Yogyakarta at 05.00 WIB with a group of around 40 people.

Knowledge Sharing and Agreement Signing with FK UNTIRTA (Faculty of Medicine of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University)

Rector and the other executives of FIKK (Faculty of Health and Sport Sciences) UNY received a delegation from the Faculty of Medicine, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (UNTIRTA), Banten to discuss and share knowledge related to the management and development of physical therapy clinics that have developed at UNY. The Health and Sports Center (HSC) UNY became a reference for a model study of the development of a physical therapy clinic that will be developed at UNTIRTA.

Workload Competency Test to Produce New Assessor Candidates for UNY

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) in collaboration with the Directorate of Resources of the Directorate General (DIKTIRISTEK) held a workshop on Provisioning and Competency Test of Lecturer Workload Assessors (BKD) on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at the UNY Hotel. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) received the "Best Student Sports Coaching College" award from KONI DIY this time. This award was given because UNY contributes the most to the sports field in the Special Region of Yogyakarta.
