There are three types of manufacturing processes based on the manufacturing process, namely, manual where everything is done by hand with the help of simple tools such as saws, chisels, files and the quality is very dependent on the skills of the operator, then conventional machines where the manufacturing process has been assisted by production machines such as lathes.

Artificial Intelligent (AI) will help a machine to follow human intelligence from simple to very complex task. By using AI, it is expected to have a lower error rate compared to human performance when programmed correctly because AI has extraordinary precision, accuracy and speed. This was explained by Suprapto, Ph.D., in the webinar of the Master of Electronics and Informatics Engineering Education (PTEI) Faculty of Engineering, UNY (09/04/2021).

The Journal and Educational Science Research Team, Faculty of Education, Yogyakarta State University (UNY), held a Webinar activity with the title "Preparation Manuscript of International Journal" with Prof. Dr. Huseyin Uzunboylu, the editor of well-known and reputable international journals "Cyriot Journal of Educational Sciences" Monday, April 5th 2021, through the Virtual Zoom Meeting.

The Virtual Exhibition "International Education Fair 2021" in Kazakhstan was held on March 25th - April 3rd, 2021. This largest Central Asia annual education exhibition was funded by the Bolashaq Development Fund and attended by over 300 universities from 50 countries around the world. UNY's participation in the IEF 2021 exhibition was facilitated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Indonesian Embassy in Nur Sultan along with 13 other Indonesian universities.

Indonesia is one of the top 20 fruit-producing countries in the world, one of the fruit is guava. Kendal Region, Sukorejo is one of the biggest guava producers in Indonesia with a total area of almost 2000 hectares consisting of guava plants. To maintain the quality of guava, farmers try their best to produce a high quality guava for their consumers. To select high quality guava, the first step the farmers do is sorting, continued by packing and distributing the guava. The purpose of sorting is to select the ripped guavas which indicate the quality and have a high selling price.

Physics education students consisting of Reno Nurdiyanto, Effendi Malik and Febriani whose team name is "Rebahan" under the guidance of Dr. Pujianto, M. Pd. created a Virtual Electromagnetic Wave Lab Application as a solution of the remote learning (PJJ) in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. This application is designed to establish active learning and independent learning of physics subject about electromagnetic wave topic.

The Chemistry Student Association of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNY held a National Chemistry Fair on Saturday, 13th March 2021. This seminar is part of a series of 2021 National Chemistry Fair (NaCF) which is held annually. The seminar with the theme "Chemistry Implementation Strategy and Chemistry Education in the New Normal Era as An Attempt of Human Resources Development in order to Head Towards a Golden Indonesia in 2045" was held online considering the Covid-19 pandemic.

Department of Sport Sciences, Faculty of Sports Sciences, UNY held a Visiting Professor Program for Undergraduate Sports Sciences Students. Mrs. Roxana Dev Omar Dev, Ph.D. from the Department of Sport Studies, Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaya acts as a lecturer who teaches the Sport Nutrition course in this VP program.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) with Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) held a collaborative talk discussing "Home Science and Family Welfare Education'' on Monday (15/03/2021). This online collaborative talk is held through Zoom meeting with the agenda discussing the similarities and differences between Home Science and Family Welfare Education starting from history, development and the future.
