Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) must be responsive to changes in technology, workplace requirements, and environmental sustainability issues. To build a sustainable system and prepare for TVET's digital transition, we need policy changes, development of new qualifications, and acquisition of new skills that address the needs of the digital economy and green economy.

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, through the International Service Office (KLI UNY), on Friday (28/10), received student visits from Management & Science University (MSU) Malaysia. Present to welcome from UNY was the Head of UNY KLI, Basikin, Ph.D. along with the Secretary of KLI, dr. Kartika Ratna Pertiwi and the staff. The group from MSU Malaysia who arrived in Yogyakarta on Tuesday (25/10) was 16 students accompanied by two staff.

After the Covid-19 pandemic, the transformation of the digital world is getting more substantial—more and more cyber immigrants of various ages. Social media is no longer exclusive to young people. For young people, social media is more than just a tool to chat with friends. Besides that, social media is also a platform to show off. Unfortunately, many young people have not made good use of it. Kuwarisan Village has the potential as a religious tourism village. To accelerate village development, the UNY community service team held a tourism awareness group sharing session on Friday, October 30, 2022 at the Grave of Grandmother Aroengbinang, Kuwarisan Village, Kebumen Regency.

Therefore, disaster mitigation education for residents around Mount Merapi is critical to reducing disaster risk. Disaster mitigation programs can take the form of physical development of disaster protection facilities and increasing community capacity in dealing with disaster threats.

To welcome the implementation of the Indonesian National Education Convention (Konaspi) X, the leaders of 12 Educational Personnel Education Institutions (LPTK) united perceptions in the Pra-Konaspi X activity, which was held at UNY on Thursday-Saturday (29/9-1/10). In this Pra-Konaspi activity, the Vice-Rectors will finalize the grand scenario of the Konaspi activity.

Pesticide is a general term to describe all types of pest poisons. The word pesticide comes from the phrase pest and cide / cida, which means pest killer. In several studies, conventional chemical-based pesticides are often associated with farmers' health problems and water pollution. To minimize this risk, farmers can use plant-based pesticides as an alternative to traditional pesticides. Plant-based pesticides have active ingredients from plants and other organic materials that are efficacious in controlling pests and plant diseases.

The LPMPP Career and Certification Center of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta held the UNY Career Expo at the UNY Auditorium on Wednesday-Thursday (28-29/9). A total of 30 companies open job vacancies for various levels of education, from high school to undergraduate. According to the Head of Certification and Career Center, Dr. Minta Harsana, this activity aims to bridge the world of business and industry as users of labor with the world of education as labor producers.
