UNY and Bangka Belitung Province Evaluate Students under the Partnership Scheme

"Lectures nowadays are not only face-to-face because we also provide opportunities for students to do off-campus activities as an implementation of independent campus learning," said Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs of UNY, Prof. Siswantoyo. Regarding Bangka Belitung Province, UNY currently has many alumni from this province. UNY oversees the assignment of scholarship students from Bangka Belitung, and the results of their learning can be seen in the track record submitted to the delegation from the provincial government.

There are still many schools in Indonesia that are not fully willing to accept children with special needs and implement inclusive education due to a lack of understanding of disability issues. This is the money of the UNY student team consisting of Hanifah Mar'atush Shalihah (Mathematics Education), Yunita Ambarwati (Special Education i), and Asma' Khoirunnisa' (Statistics) who are members of the Sembagi Arutala team.

Starting from fixing a bicycle chain, Priti successfully graduated from the Automotive Engineering Education Department of UNY

Automotive is mainly perceived as a men's world. But that does not deter Priti from studying in the Automotive Engineering Education program at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). "I like to see my father working in the workshop. The first experience that I remember was when I was in elementary school. I could repair bicycle chains, both my own and my friends. Repairing motorcycle tires is an activity I often do," she said.  Since then, Priti often helps her father when customizing Harley Davidson or repairing cars.

UNY's Role in Poverty Alleviation

In poverty alleviation, the first thing to change is the mindset. The growth mindset-based development program is intended for training of trainers while for students there is a growth mindset development program. Health Promotion to Improve the Fitness of Elderly Hajj Pilgrims

"The number of Indonesian pilgrims aged 60 years and over reaches 25.31%. Computer-Based Admission Examination for National Selection Based on Test Year 2023 at UNY Runs Smoothly

As in the previous year, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta(UNY) hosted the Computer-Based Admission Examination for National Test-Based Selection in 2023.  This exam is a national selection pathway for prospective students who are interested in continuing their education at state universities in Indonesia. UNY provides quite a lot of spare computers to anticipate the possibility of computer problems. In addition, to avoid cheating, UNY takes several steps, namely synchronizing data, preparing security in collaboration with the police, and using metal detectors.

UNY strengthens education quality commitment with 15 new professors

Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) officially inaugurated 15 professors on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Performance Hall of the Faculty of Language Arts and Culture UNY.
