UNY Lecturer Becomes a Visiting Professor at Satbayev University, Kazakhstan

Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Didik Nurhadiyanto, ST., MT., IPU, ASEAN Eng. gave a public lecture in front of the staff and students of the Undergraduate, Masters and Doctoral Degree Department of Mining and Metallurgical Institute, Satbayev University, Kazakhstan. Prof. Didik Nurhadiyanto gave material in public lectures on two topics. The first topic is the 'Development of Corrugated Metal Gaskets for Pipe-to-Pipe Joints'.

UNY sent off 137 students who participated in the Independent Student Exchange (PMM) 2 in the Rector's Main Meeting Room on Friday (6/1). Teaching Green Catalyst for chemical transformation at Satbayev University, Kazakhstan

Isti Yunita, M.Sc., Ph.D., lecturer in the Department of Chemistry Education, UNY, recently became a visiting professor at the Department of Mining and Metallurgical Institute, Satbayev University, Kazakhstan. Isti had the opportunity to teach about "Green Catalyst for chemical transformation: The need for sustainable development". Isti explained about the manufacture of catalysts from egg shell waste to overcome the problem of plastic bottle waste, so that it can be concluded from the optimization of waste to solve waste problem.

On Monday, January 2, 2023, 51 officials attended the inauguration ceremony and oath of office. The Rector of UNY appointed 4 Vice-Rectors, 8 Faculty Deans, 1 Graduate School Director, 24 Faculty Deputy Deans, 2 Graduate School Vice-Directors, 6 Directorate Directors, and 6 Directorate Secretaries.
