TECHNOLOGICAL DESIGN COLLABORATION WITH YAMAGUCHI UNIVERSITY, JAPAN-FE YSU

Yamaguchi University, Japan sent their students again, to collaborate with students of Engine Technique Education, Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (9-26 / 9/2016). FE YSU’s collaboration with Yamaguchi has been going on for a long time and has produced several concept designs to provide benefit in the community. This is the fourth year, where Yamaguchi sent students to the FE YSU to collaborate in the field of mechanics.

KANGAN INSTITUTE AUSTRALIA’S STUDENTS MAKING BATIK AT THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Kangan Institute Australia in collaboration with the Educational Clothing Technique Study Program Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (FE YSU) are in the development of batik design and the exploration Indonesian batik business’ potential of in the international world. Kangan Institute sends eleven Textile and Fashion students to learn batik ranging from the type, style, history and up to the batik process.

WELCOMING CEREMONY FOR YSU’S INTERNATIONAL STUDENT 2016

Taking place in the Main Court Room, Rector’s Building, Yogyakarta State University, Monday (19/9/2016) the international students who currently study at YSU joined the Welcome Ceremony which was organized by the (OIAP) YSU. Some of the students are coming from Thailand, China, India, Vietnam, South Korea, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine, Hungary and countries from the Africa continent.

ICEBESS 2016 TO DEVELOP ACADEMIC SCHOLARS TO FACE THE GLOBAL CHALLENGES

With the rapid advancement of technology and the digitalization process in various fields, people are required to make changes in the behaviour of social, economic, and business. With this background, the Faculty of Economics (FE) YSU held an International Conference on Ethics of Business, Economics, and Social Science (ICEBESS) 2016 (16/9).

FACULTY OF MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE’S STUDENT GRABED THE SILVER MEDAL AT IIIF 2016 IN BANGALORE, INDIA

YSU’s student of FMS, Mathematics Study Program Rifaldy Fajar, is again marking an achievement by successfully winning a silver medal in the event of The 1st India International Innovation Fair 2016 (IIIF in 2016) in Bangalore, India held on September 9 to 11 at the BIEC. This activity is organized by the Indian Innovators Association (IIA) in cooperation with the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA)

YSU ICVET 2016: STRENGTHENING EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING TO WIN AEC COMPETITION

Yogyakarta State University (YSU) organized the International Conference on Vocational Education and Training (ICVET) 2016 at the Sheraton Hotel (15 / 09-2016),  with the theme of "Strengthening TVET in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)". The annual event, a collaboration of the Faculty of Engineering and the Graduate School is aimed to contribute to the improvement of the quality of vocational education to produce the Human Resources (HR) in Indonesia who are skilled and competent, thus can be accepted in other countries.

MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY-TEACHING PRACTICE PROGRAM IN YOGYAKARTA

Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) sent 16 students in teaching training programs in Yogyakarta under the coordination of the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University. The sixteen students were divided into three groups to teach in SLTP I Depok, SMK Negeri 2 Depok and SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta.

THE DISCUSSION OF CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT WITH KASETSART UNIVERSITY THAILAND

The academic circle of Yogyakarta State University received a visit from Kasetsart University, Thailand in a comparative study of curriculum development in the awareness of global competition (6/9) in the Main Courtroom of The Office of Rector. This visit consisted of 40 people from Kasetsart University from various faculties. With the signing of the MoU on December 17, 2012, YSU and Kasetsart University have a commitment to cooperation until December 17, 2017. This agreement provides an opportunity for the implementation of the exchange of education, student exchange and joint research.

MOU SIGNING BETWEEN INDONESIAN AIRFORCE ACADEMY AND YSU

Along with the discharge of SM3T students (Bachelor of Teaching in the Regional Frontier, Outermost, and Deprived), Yogyakarta State University (YSU) and the Air Force Academy (AAU) signed a memorandum of understanding held at Sasana Krida Field of the Air Force Academy, Wednesday (08/31/2016). The agreement was signed by the Governor of the AAU, the Young Marshal Iman Sudrajat, S.E, and Vice Rector I of YSU Drs. Wardan Suyanto, M.A., Ed.D.
