A group of creative students from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has found a way to turn everyday waste into an environmental solution. Led by Biology student Jalu Bahtiar Baharudin, the team transformed discarded orange peels into a bioadsorbent capable of cleaning up wastewater from the batik industry. This innovative project is part of the 2024 Student Creativity Program (PKM) in Exact Research, aiming to address both pollution and waste management in Yogyakarta.
