Yogyakarta – Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) conducted an emissions testing program for private and official vehicles at the Rectorate parking area on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, as part of its commitment to promoting a healthier and more sustainable campus environment.

According to Indun Probo Utami, M.Pd., Head of Facilities, Infrastructure, and Household Affairs at UNY, the initiative was carried out to comply with Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 on Environmental Protection and Management.

Bantul – The Off-Campus Learning Program (Pembelajaran Luar Kampus/PLK) of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) continues to create meaningful impacts within local communities. One recent example is the community engagement initiative carried out by the @samskarapelita.mengabdi team at Bina Siwi Orphanage in Bantul, where students implemented a series of sustainable empowerment programs for children with special needs.

Yogyakarta – Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) has admitted 2,497 new students through the National Test-Based Selection (Seleksi Nasional Berbasis Tes/SNBT) 2026 admission pathway. The intake comprises 2,272 undergraduate (Bachelor's) students and 225 applied bachelor's (D4) students, selected from 60,063 applicants who chose UNY as their preferred university.

Bantul – Students from the Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Law, and Political Science, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), recently organized a community engagement program titled "Learning Assistance and Digital Literacy for Children" at Sanggar Anak Tumbuh in Bantul. The initiative forms part of a project-based SDGs learning program designed to support Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by strengthening digital literacy among children.

Students of the Off-Campus Learning Program (PLK) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) conducted a community empowerment program through training on salak peel processing in Watuadeg Hamlet, Purwobinangun Village, Pakem District, Sleman Regency, on Saturday (16/5/26). In this activity, residents were introduced to the utilization of salak peel waste as a herbal beverage with added economic value and health benefits.

Students of the Off-Campus Learning Program (PLK) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), who are carrying out community service activities in Karangasem Hamlet, initiated the installation of Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) timers for street lighting in every neighborhood unit (RT). The program was implemented as an effort to improve electricity efficiency while simplifying the management of street lighting for the local community.
