These issues were explored during Eurasia Lecturer Series Episode 16, recently held with Lisa Lindawati from the University of Queensland, Australia, as the featured speaker.

The Undergraduate Culinary Education Study Program of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), organized the VeggieVolution 2026 Culinary Innovation Festival, an exhibition showcasing students' innovative culinary creations developed from vegetables. Bantul – Students participating in the Off-Campus Learning Program (PLK) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) recently carried out a community engagement project at Abdul 'Alim Orphanage in Imogiri, Bantul. The orphanage was selected as the program site because the children's age range and educational needs aligned closely with the academic backgrounds of the PLK team members, enabling them to apply their knowledge in meaningful community service.

Klaten – Students participating in the Off-Campus Learning Program (PLK) at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) recently launched a community-based organic waste management initiative through the cultivation of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae, commonly known as maggots, in Pandan Hamlet, Somopuro Village, Jogonalan District, Klaten Regency, Central Java. The initiative, titled Eco Point, was developed to address the longstanding challenge of household organic waste management within the local community.
