Athi' Nur Auliati Rahmah, a Physics Education student, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY, is an Alumni of the Teaching Campus Program Batch 1 of 2021. Athi' has completed her service at SDN Guluk-Guluk II, Guluk-Guluk District, Sumenep Regency, Madura, East Java. Her experience in teaching in Madura provides inspiration on how to promote quality education in remote areas. Yogyakarta is rich with culture-based creative industries. It is common for various pottery products to be developed with classic designs and coloring motifs. This is what attracted Arif Purwantara, a student of the Craft Education study program, Faculty of Language and Arts, UNY, to research more about the form, function and finishing aspects of traditional piggy banks from the Senthong Kiwo Kasongan Ceramic Industry, Bantul, which is managed by Bambang Utoyo.

UNY STUDENTS WON A SILVER MEDAL IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE CATEGORY IN THE IICYMS 2021 COMPETITION

The 2021 UNY Young  Dalang X Festival which has been taking place from Tuesday, June 8 to Saturday, June 12 at the Ki Nartosabdo Building, Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS) UNY has succeeded in presenting child puppeteers who are quite skilled in playing a series of puppets and amaze thousands of audiences who watched online through the YouTube Humas 2020 FBS UNY channel. Although most of  the participants could be said to be extraordinary, the Jury had to choose 6 puppeteers as winners out of a total of 32 participants.

To boost inclusive and sustainable economic growth, the Government of Madiun City agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY). The signing ceremony was held in the main courtroom of the rectorate, on Friday (11/6). The Mayor of Madiun and his staff were met directly by the Rector of UNY. The delegation from Madiun was led directly by the Mayor, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor, and several members of the Forkopimda.

Drowsiness is the second highest accident factor after carelessness. This is what inspired UNY students to design a driving safety pillow as an effort to minimize accidents caused by drowsiness. They are Suryadi (Automotive Engineering Education), Ikhwanudin (Electrical Engineering Education), Riani Fatimah (Clothing Engineering Education) and Aulia Avi Basuki (Accounting).
