CHARACTER EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN MAGELANG

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have spiritual spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and the skills needed by themselves, the community and the nation. There are many reasons why character education must be a priority in education. For this reason, on September 6, 2017, President Joko Widodo signed Presidential Decree no. 87 of 2017 concerning Strengthening Character Education.

PT MAYORA RECRUITED UNY ALUMNI

Faculty of Engineering  in collaboration with PT Mayora held a job recruitment session There were several position offered such as technical head section, production head section, quality control head section, Engineering head section, quality control analyst and many more.  The recruitment proses has been completed on 22 to 23/8/2019.

UNY GRADUATE SCHOOL LECTURERS: GIVING TRAINING FOR WEBSITE MANAGEMENT, SOCIAL MEDIA AND NEWS WRITING FOR SCHOOL TEACHER

Website is an important media for schools. It has the potential as a database that can be seen by the wider community. News, photos, infographics and videos can be presented through this media. This important necessity has driven UNY Graduate School Lecturers Team to organize a community service program to boost the internet based skill of teacher at LP Ma'arif NU Yogyakarta.

UNIVERSITI KEBANGSAAN MALAYSIA (UKM) STUDENTS COMPLETED SHORT COURSE IN FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCE UNY

As part of implementation of cooperation on student mobility program, UNY accepted 13 students from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) to have short course program. Dr. Nurul Khotimah, M.Sc. said that the idea for the program started with the proposal from UKM for a short visit to UNY’s Faculty of Social Sciences. The idea then developed further in the form of short course. By doing so, the visit gave further benefit for both UNY and UKM.

VISITATION ON DIPLOMA OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDY PROGRAM UNY

Diploma program of Mechanical Education received a visit from BAN-PT to give assessment. Assessors for the visitation are Sidiq Ruswanto from Politeknik Negeri Jakarta and Widya Wijayanti from Universitas Brawijaya. Vice Rektor for Academic Affairs, Margana said that UNY expected that assessor team will be able to provide direction for Diploma program of Mechanical Education and UNY as a whole.

UNY FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES READY TO COLLABORATE WITH PANCASILA IDEOLOGY DEVELOPMENT BOARD

Pancasila Ideology Development Board or BPIP visited UNY Faculty of Social Sciences at FIS UNY Hall. BPIP is an institution that work under the president and give supported service on formulating direction of policy for Pancasila fostering, coordinating, synchronizing and controlling the development of the Pancasila ideology as a whole and in a sustainable manner.

TRAINING OF CREATIVE ASSIGNMENT DEVELOPMENT FOR GENERATION Z

Technology became the basis of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Knowledge and technological mastery that is followed by innovation will provide great benefits for the community. This issue becomes urgent in learning Indonesian language and literature in schools, especially junior high schools, considering that junior high school students are part of Generation Z who are very familiar with devices and technology.

TECHNICAL GUIDANCE FOR PROCUREMENT OF GOODS AND SERVICES

There are seven contract dispute issues, namely defaults, contract amendments, black lists, advances and work performance payments, sanctions, compensation events and price adjustments. Therefore, legal protection is needed for the management of government procurement of goods and services.  There are many problems with procurement at present including leakage, many corruption practices in the procurement process, lack of transparency in procurement of government goods / services and fear of procurement executive’s officials to process procurement.
